Robots use light beams to zap hospital viruses!

That's right, you read it correctly, a robotic engineering company in Denmark has developed a robot which can clear a room of harmful microbes.

Glowing like light sabres, eight bulbs emit concentrated UV-C ultraviolet light. This destroys bacteria, viruses and other harmful microbes by damaging their DNA and RNA, so they can't multiply.

About 35 companies and academic institutions are racing to create such a vaccine, at least four of which already have candidates they have been testing in animals.
